Internet Safety for Children Working Party

The Internet Safety for Children Working Party includes representatives from a number of government and non-government agencies, who have come together with the purpose of identifying, implementing and promoting strategies for educating children, parents, school staff and the wider community about using electronic and telecommunications media safely.

The Working Party’s vision is for all children and young people to be aware of how to safely use the electronic and telecommunications media at school, home and in the community.

The Working Party has also been involved in the distribution of a DVD entitled “Keeping Safe on the Internet”. This DVD was produced by the Department of Education and WA Police, in association with NetAlert and the Fremantle Football Club. Copies of the DVD are available by contacting Tony Romanelli by email at tony.romanelli@det.wa.edu.au or by telephone on 9264 5256
